Super Smash Bros Macros
A few macros I cobbled together. I’m getting a bit of a mania :O

And a Captain N one for good measure

Mysterious Cities of Gold Cast List
OMG!!!!
The cast list
OMG!!!
Whoa, it’s hard to imagine him as Esteban! All this time we were told Esteban was voiced by Adrian Knight, and he wasn’t; that was Tao. Esteban is so utterly cute I just love him!
I still don’t have the DVD
I’m so poor!
KidKid Icarus KidKid Icarus
(That’s one of the sacred words for Angel Land Story, I can’t remember what it does though. Last level, I think??)
I was watching Videolympics the other day. They are SO mean to Kid Icarus in that. Dr Wiley called him Kid Idiot and Simon Belmont called him Shrimpicus, so Kid called Simon Dopius Maximus, which is an exceptionordinarily cool insult.
(Don’t tell me I’m sad, I already know. My best friend hasn’t come to see me for a while, so I’ve no one to talk to
)

This is actually from Invasion of the Paper Pedlars. That’s the episode I remember watching as a kid and the one that helped me track down Captain N in the first place. Mother Brain is my master!!!! Kid has been hypnotised in this one. He’s going for Kevinicus.

Kid Icarus, you are so exceptionordinarily cute!!! He gets bashed around so much in this episode. Kid Liquorice!

Aww! Yook at him the lil duckie! He’s off to battle Medusa here, but first he must stop himself and Simonius looking at her.
My Favourite Captain N Scenes
My favourite and best scenes from Captain N – The Game Master
Episode 9 – Nightmare on Mother Brain’s Street
This has some of the best scenes
I don’t know, maybe you have to actually watch them for real to find them funny.
Mother Brain: Metroid mirror on the wall
Am I the cutest of them all?
Mirror: Princess Lana’s the cutest chick,
You’re so ugly you make me sick!

Mother Brain: What do you know, twerp! I will be the most beautiful woman in Videoland! And you, Eggplant Wizard, are going to help me do it!

Eggplant Wizard: Wh – who, me?
Mother Brain: Yes, you! You can start by making me an apple!

Eggplant Wizard:Whatever you say, Mother Bwain!
Magic words with which I grapple, make this brain a big juicy apple!

Mother Brain: You idiot! I don’t want to be an apple! I want to have an apple!
Mother Brain’s voice is the best. She’s voiced by Levi Stubbs.

Eggplant Wizard: C-c-cool off, Mother Brain, or you’ll become a baked apple!

My Favourite and my Best
Kid Icarus: Angel Land Story
This was a pretty good game. Never got all that far, I kept getting stuck on level 2. Kid Icarus is really called Pit.

I can’t do it. I just can’t do it :’( This game is too hard.

The 80s Quotes!
Full list of credits of all the lines I’ve plagiarised from 80s cartoons for Lana’s story. Big kudos to all the scriptwriters whose lines I’ve shamelessly stolen
- Ch2, Page 2: “So, you’re awake. I’m sorry if I frightened you, but they told me to keep an eye on you until you woke up. I’m Kevin. Here, take this.”
From The Mysterious Cities of Gold. Tao to Zia: “So, you’re awake. I’m sorry if I frightened you, but I had to talk to you here, where we could be alone. Take this.”
- Ch2, Page 3: “Why, you’re aboard The Revenant. We had to teleport you up when Loft’s henchmen tried to get you.”
From Captain N – The Game Master. Princess Lana to Kevin: “Why you’re in Videoland. The ultimate warp zone brought you here.”
They don’t make ‘em like they used to
They really don’t know how to make good cartoons nowadays. So here are my top 3 kids’ shows from bygone times…
1. The Mysterious Cities of Gold

This is undoubtedly the best cartoon ever made, and if you disagree with me, it means you never watched it
MCoG is set in 1532 and follows Esteban, a twelve year old orphan boy from the Americas. Read the rest of this entry »
