Did I tell you I finished Kid Icarus? Twice even. Yes and I have, too! Without cheat codes either. I was having so much fun that I forgot to get screenshots, though, till near the end.
The ending is utterly ghay, watch this:
Here are some shots from the second time round. Once you clock the game you can play again with all your stats intact.
Kid Icarus for VC only costs 500 Wii points which isn’t that much if your sister happens to have a lot of Stars 
And once you buy a legit copy you can just download the original ROM and play it on an emulator which has save states

I really hate Fail Factor Infinity (aka Factor 5)
This guy is so freaking brilliant
Why they’re not using his awesome Brawl design and making him look like a western emo Star Wars character is beyond me. FFS. Things don’t need to be dark to look cool, any of those Pit designs are using the Brawl design but making him look needlessly emo/darker, or too much like an adult. The game is called KID Icarus for a reason, Pit is an adolescent!!
Creating Pit like this will not bode well for Japanese sales, neither does Factor 5. I know it never did so well in Japan anyway, but his Brawl look is amazingly popular now. By doing this they instantly take away any popularity potential.
Angst is the total polar opposite of good. He looks like f***ing Anakin Skywalker with wings!
I don’t care if it’s concept art, if they had any brains they’d use his popular Brawl look, no redesign needed, that was already done.
EDIT: Oh, and the story of Pit as a fallen angel is total bulls**t. I hope it’s not real. It’s the total opposite of the way Pit is usually imagined. Why does everything have to be all dark and angsty these days!?

…In any case I don’t trust Factor 5 at all with this project, it they are indeed working on it. It’s not their area, I have no idea why they’d even want to take it. I looked at the list of their games, and oh dear, they’d be the last company on earth I’d choose to revive a mythological fantasy series.
I don’t get the need to complain and go on like they’ve ruined the franchise, the final product (if it exists) hasn’t even been officially revealed yet.
Saves me having to do it when the game “Kid Icarus: Pit’s Gangster Adventures in Hell” (Fan translated to “Adult Satan: Lucifer’s Epic Adventure”) is revealed at E3 in a few months.

I’m feeling so depressed about this and totally hopeless. Being a rabid fangirl is not all about squees and drawing crappy fan art (and excuse me my fan art is not crappy – just mediocre). It also means feeling utterly sick when morons like Fail Factor Infinity decide to tear the object of your fangirlism limb from limb. Iz maeks me so sad

Superstar Sindy
Ummm… abstract photography!
It’s Superstar Sindy! I got her as a present when I was 3 and I still have her. Her legs broke at the knees within a few weeks of getting her, but overall she is in better condition than my later Sindys. Well her limbs are at least still attached to her body. I lost her microphone at Nursery though. My teacher told me to stop holding on to it and give it to her to look after but she put it away and I never saw it again. It was a long long time before I got over the loss. In actual fact *sniff* I’m still not over it

Meet Cal
Squee!!! This little sweetie only cost me £4.95, in fact a bit less because of the recent lower VAT rate.
He is called Cal (short for Callimachus) and I am in love with him already.
There is actually a decent art shop in Muswell Hill, I can’t think how I never saw it before. I didn’t find my Marsmatic drawing pens though. They had Staedtler drawing pens but they were different, they had the fibre tips not metal precision ones. And there was another brand of pen which looked like the right kind, however all I had on me was the £6 needed for my Cal and a rubber, so I had to give it a miss.
So w00t I can have a bit of help in getting Callimachus’s poses right. However Cal is not quite so flexible as I’d hoped, i.e. the joints don’t bend as far as a real person’s could, however what do you expect from a wooden man?? But it does mean I won’t have to spend quite so long drawing him… or maybe not.
