Ike unleashes Great Aether on Pit.
‘No! Stopicus!!!!!!!!’
Pit returns to Skyworld to lick his wounds.
‘You’ll pay for this, you rotten eggplanticus!!!!’
Kid Liquorice informs him that Ike is on his way to Skyworld to settle the matter, so Pit spends a bit of time practising his attacks.
‘Wowicus!! That is one cool flower!!’

4B Pencils, Mannikins and Level 4
I’ve become so utterly useless at Smash Bros lately… I’m losing to level 6 CPUs even. Not even my special nunchuk of luck is helping… hmmm… I guess my heart eyes are just getting too big!!
My trusty 3B pencil that I’ve had since I was 17 is getting very small, so I was on a mission to buy a few replacements. Can you believe it? No one seems to sell 3B pencils on their own anymore. They had packs of pencils from B-9B – yeah, great – what do I want with all those? But no 3Bs on their own. So I had to get 2 4Bs and a 2B. Well, maybe I’ll prefer the 4B, and who knows? There used to be a really good art shop on Muswell Hill, just where the 144 stops. I used to get my art supplies from there – including my faithful 3B pencil – but it changed a few years back into a make-up shop.

So you see I am making some progress on my Kid Liquorice Sky World Story, but I am having difficulties at the moment with some sheep. I can draw sheep okay, that’s not a problem, it’s a lot easier than I expected. But I am having problems with this particular picture in terms of the composition and perspective. The depth, it always looks wrong. I haven’t got very far with this picture and getting Callimachus’s pose right is also proving a bit tricky.
I really want to get a mannikin and they did in fact have one in Smith’s (despite the fact that they had hardly anything else) for £11.99 which is not bad, so I might get one from there next time I go. But first I’m going to look on the interwebz because Smith’s is very expensive.
I had an interesting conversation with Agent T the other day.

Silver Arrows’s Nunchuk o’ Luck
I’ve started playing Smash Bros with the nunchuk now and – wow – what a difference! I can actually do Pit’s glide move now. Very funky! Grabs are also a lot easier. Smash attacks took a bit of getting used to but now I’ve got the hang of it I’m on a roll!!
Also, we’ve been trying to do the 100 man brawl for a long time, I don’t know how many times we’ve attempted it, at least 30 I’d say. The most we got was 99 and then I fell off. (Usually though (9/10 times) it’d be my sis who fell off cos she plays as Ike and Ike’s recovery is the biggest load of rubbish I’ve ever seen).That was, of course, until I started using the amazing
and first go, we got all 100 before we even realised it!
That is one lucky nunchuk.
We also got a record of 128 in Endless brawl! Spiffing, eh?
Now even more impressive – hold your breath – I have been able to take on 2 CPUs at LEVEL 8!! Yes, level 8!!! I’ve also unlocked Toon Link, he was a pain in the butt, but here is the strange thing. Smash Wiki says:
Complete Classic Mode with Link after beating the Subspace Emissary or find and defeat him in a secret room in “The Forest” after completing Subspace Emissary. Some people have reported not being able to unlock Toon Link in any way after unlocking Luigi.
We haven’t even completed the Subspace Emissary yet. We got stuck on The Cave (25%) and had to get our big sis to play it for us, but we didn’t do any levels after that. So how did I unlock Toon Link if the only way to get him is to finish Subspace???
Oh wait, hang on, I get it now. You can either get him that way, or by playing 400 brawls. I see, you don’t need to do both. Crumbs! All righticus, all we’ve got left now is Wolf.
In happier news… Wait, lemme start that again. One day in Rabid Fangirl Land, Silver Arrows purchased a cool twin pack of 2GB SD cards for only £7.99 pounds!! AND I have convinced sis not to delete my snapshots (she had to agree because she has Ike pics now!!). Which means… you know what it means don’t you? It means the rabid fangirl is going to fill and fill and fill this blog with Pit pictures until she’s sick! And I never will be. Rabid fangirls FTW!!!

If you want the literal translation, it’s ici. Agent T particularly likes the soprano bit. He collapsed into hysterics when he heard it and got me into trouble.

Whoa, it’s hard to imagine him as Esteban! All this time we were told Esteban was voiced by Adrian Knight, and he wasn’t; that was Tao. Esteban is so utterly cute I just love him!

Concept Art
I’ve been doing a bit of concept art of my own, lately. Strangely, the concept art looks better than the finished pictures. Here are two of the protagonists from Kid Liquorice – Sky World Story.
Silver – Honestly, it’s not vanity that makes her name Silver… she originally started off as a cartoonified self-portrait, only she was far too cute and pretty to be representative of me, and she ended up developing a personality of her own, but the name stuck. I know you won’t believe me, but really and truly, I just stuck a chiton on her and she changed into someone else! (Technically, this isn’t actually concept art, just a preliminary sketch, really.)
The fight is on!
Callimachus – he isn’t Kid Liquorice, although it does sound a bit like Callimachus. I am quite in love with him already
That’s the picture I’m using as the archetype, but as you’ll see when I finally finish chapter one, he doesn’t always look very much like it. That’s something I’ve got to work on.

Someone from the-prism.com asked EA technical support about a problem with HomeCrafter Plus not working. HomeCrafter Plus was made by EA for The Sims 2. EA’s response as follows:

The Torrent Queen is Abdicating
I am stepping down from the Torrent Queen role and whoever wants it can have it. My original aim in torrenting paysite content was
- to annoy T$R
and
- help spread the message that Paysites Must Be Destroyed,
and I feel I’ve succeeded in both.
Please don’t request any new torrents – a refusal often offends. You may ask me to seed my existing torrents if they’re slow or dead, but that’s all. If I’m bored I might put Simal and BlackGarden’s stuff on the torrents, but right now I am up to my ears in my Kid Liquorice project, so don’t hold your breath…
SecuROM IS also used on non-gaming software
I can confirm that it WAS the DSA Driving Theory Test CD that infected our PC with SecuROM again 
That nasty bit of malware was back on my sister’s profile, so it definitely wasn’t the Castaway this time. I CureSecurom’d her profile again, deleted cmdline-whatsitsname.dll and checked regedit. SecuROM was nuked. We then put the DSA CD in, launched the program and checked regedit again: lo and behold, Screw-u-ROM was back. However it does seem to be a ‘lighter’ version, as a lot of the things reported by Securom-infected Sims players weren’t present. Even so, I am not happy about this.
What makes this even worse is the fact that this is OFFICIAL DSA software – DSA being the Driving Standards Agency and an agent of the Department for Transport, which is a government department – meaning that an agent of the government now sees fit to infect our PCs with malware.
This is the product in question – beware guys, it’s infected, and even worse, you can’t even get a crack for it, because who would want to make one?
