Skintones and such
You might have noticed from my screenies, up till now I’ve only ever used Maxis tones (and recolours based on the Maxis skintones for my non-Earth sims). So I’ve decided to stop being so boring on that front (sorry, other kinds of boredom will persist). Some of Enayla’s tones looked quite nice, so I thought I’d give them a go.
Woo! It’s taking some getting used to; it looks so weird compared to the rest of the sims in the neighbourhood! This one is the Opaline tone (I think?) and makes the Sim look a bit cadaverous

Art Lesson Numéro Deux
Okie, finally got off my butt and attempted the next 4 lessons in my art odyssey. Let’s see what we got.
First off, I have some drawing pens now. Mr Linley says you need a 0.1, a 0.5 and a 0.7. I have a set of pens my (retired) artist uncle got for me a couple of years back, but I never had any use for them till today. Unfortunately, the sizes I have are 0.25, 0.35, 0.5 and 0.7. And the 0.5 he already used and the ink is so clogged up and dry in there that no matter how much I washed it (I even tried vinegar!) it just won’t unclog; it’s totally unusable. So my lines are thicker in places than they ought to be. Anyway, let’s see if it’s an improvement on the blue ball-point.

To be honest, I don’t know when I’m going to finish her story, or if I ever even will. I know what happens to her so it makes no difference to me whether I do write it down or not. The only reason I have to write it is if there is anyone else who actually gives a damn how it ends.
Oh no, she’s kicking me to the kerb!
The thing is, I am feeling quite disillusioned with it. Chapter two is still not to my satisfaction and never will be – I can’t even be bothered to proof-read and try to improve it because it bores me so – and the whole story in general seems to me to have descended to the world of a third-rate American soap (wait – isn’t that all of them?).
And as well, Jasmine just doesn’t interest me any more. It was interesting to throw all these things at her and see how she’d react and what wry one-liners she’d come up with. I loved the way the things would just unfold as I wrote, like magic. But now, Jasmine just bores me. She doesn’t have wings for one thing, and she is always so bleedin’ miserable. What do you do with someone who suffers from a bout of depression every fecking year? I would much rather dream of wings.

Woohoo! Level Four!
Ha ha ha! I can win a brawl against 3 CPUs all at level 4 each now. Isn’t that great?
All righticus! You can stop laughing now. I may have mentioned before – or not – I’m not what you’d call a gamer. Games for me are not a way of life. I’m not like those people I played Unreal Tournament against once, you could tell they spent months training, the same way you’d train for a sport. I play games because they are entertaining, or interesting, or because I have an unhealthy fascination with one of the characters.
Don’t worry, it’ll pass.
I have a few good in-game shots of Pit in black – my fave colour for wearing and he looks nice in black too – but no SD card 
I could ask sis I suppose.
Then she’ll say, You want pictures of your Pit? You are SO SAD.
I wish people would stop saying that, like it’s something I don’t already know.

A lil something for myself
Just done three so far. Look pretty good in game, so I’ll work on a few more characters before upload.
These are decals, so they’ll work on any wall. I tell you, Kid Icarus was the hardest to do, because the background on the source image was white – so are his clothes, so it was very very hard to separate the foreground from the background, but I think it came out okay, no?
